Sultans Trail can be walked almost year round. Some higher parts (like the Bulgarian mountains) are only accessible from May to October. Some other parts, like Turkey, might become pretty hot in July and August. We are still looking for volunteer hikers who would like to join Wilfried Pieters from Belgium (who speaks Serbian) to mark a part of Sultans Trail in Serbia. Please send an email with your motivation to info @ sultanstrail.com Half April 2011 a group of hikers will walk from the Bulgarian border to Istanbul. You can still join!
